AP-4 COFFEE TABLE
IN INTELLECTUAL MATTE GRAY | FALL 2018 | 48”L X 24”W X 17”H
This is the fourth piece of furniture in the plywood collection that I have designed and built over the past six months. It features three plywood levels with two inch wood dowels holding them up. The table provides room for an abundant book collection on the lowest level and room for a smaller amount of more frequently accessed books or other items. This is the first in the series that includes a polyurethane finish on the top level to prevent damage from glassware or plate-ware.
The design of the table relates to some of the other pieces in the series but diverges in the round legs, which adds a level of play to the piece, which is finished in a flat matte gray called Intellectual.
